The Keeping House is a new textile and wallcovering brand from the team behind Society Social. The name is deliberate. "Keeping house" historically carried the weight of obligation, a chore list, not a love letter to the domestic. Here, that phrase is reclaimed as a joyful rebellion, a curated act of personal storytelling and design.
STEEPED IN HISTORY
Each pattern begins with a ghost of the past: an 18th-century French quilt, an Anglo-Indian chintz, a 17th-century Italian tear sheet, and handwoven traditions from across centuries and cultures.
"Introducing our first sister brand. Like all sisters, Society Social and The Keeping House share the same DNA but have their own personalities entirely, their own points of view, their own obsessions. Cut from the same cloth. Patterns rooted in history. Reimagined with the wit and warmth that has always defined who we are."
