Inspired by the waters surrounding Nantucket, where The Keeping House launched, this collaboration honors the quiet beauty of the welcoming island that will always feel like home. Alyssa reinterpreted the classic seaside fish in our signature textiles, creating a collectible work of art that's timeless, playful, and distinctly The Keeping House. Fresh off the boat and dressed for the occasion, this little catch proves that great prints are always in season.
Born & raised in Boston, Alyssa Jill Harris spent her childhood learning and exploring all creative outlets. She attended programs at the North Bennet Street School, Museum School of Boston, Hartford Art School & more. Post college, Alyssa worked in fashion & interior design before moving to Camden, South Carolina and founding Willa Heart. Alyssa's work has been featured in the New York Times, Architectural Digest, Veranda Magazine & More.
Each pattern begins with a ghost of the past: an 18th-century French quilt, an Anglo-Indian chintz, a 17th-century Italian tear sheet, and handwoven traditions from across centuries and cultures.
