ARTISTRY

Handcrafted by The Green Vase, each arrangement combines The Keeping House’s Indienne Chintz Indigo wallpaper with hand-dyed paper and a beautifully aged terra cotta pot.
Inspired by Indian textiles and 19th-century Persian woodblock panels featuring symbolic lotus motifs, Indienne Chintz reimagines a centuries-old style in lively vegetable-dyed shades of indigo, leaf, and raspberry.

DETAILS

Approximately 28.5" tall and 11" at its widest point. The aged terra cotta pot measures 6.5" high x 7" in diameter.

CARE

Please shape your paper flower or plant by gently shaping the wire stems, especially after first unboxing. Take care not to handle the tissue blooms directly, as this can cause damage to their shape. Leaves and blooms should be facing outward, as if they're growing towards the sun.
To ensure the longevity of your paper flowers, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight, heat sources and humid conditions. Please avoid contact with water as this can cause the dye to run. To dust, please use a hairdryer set to low and cool.

About THE GREEN VASE

Inspired by the organic world around her, Livia Cetti founded her paper flower studio, The Green Vase, in 2005. All paper flowers are entirely hand crafted by Livia and her small staff of talented artisans in the Bronx, NY. Each piece is meant to be an impressionistic gesture capturing the spirit of the flower, and just like the real thing, no two will ever be exactly alike.

Each pattern begins with a ghost of the past: an 18th-century French quilt, an Anglo-Indian chintz, a 17th-century Italian tear sheet, and handwoven traditions from across centuries and cultures.
